Flexible stone veneer are based on synthetic resins with special flexibility, mixed with selected stone and granite chips, mineral oxide pigments, and a variety of chemical additives, which are cast and cured in molds to simulate a variety of natural stone forms. This special flexibility provides unlimited design freedom for any surface that requires a stone grain texture.

Applications
RockTex Flexible Stone Veneer
RockTex Flexible Stone Veneer is primarily designed for interior applications.
Its lightweight and flexible nature makes it ideal for adhering directly to clean, structurally sound walls with the convenient Ad-10 Acrylic Flexible Adhesive.
For outdoor applications, ensure the wall is properly waterproofed before installation.
While the adhesive works well on various surfaces, some exterior materials like wood, drywall, or metal may require an additional layer of metal lath for added stability.
The Ad-10 Acrylic Adhesive offers a quick and easy alternative to traditional premixed mortar.
This simplifies the installation process and saves time compared to conventional methods.
RockTex Flexible Stone Veneer Installation Guide
- Prepare the Surface:
Ensure the installation surface is clean, dry, and free of dust, debris, and any existing coatings.
Prime the surface using a compatible primer as needed. The primary function of the primer is to enhance the solidity of the substrate surface. - Apply Bonding Agent:
Choose one of the following methods:
Option A: Apply a thin layer (ca. 1.0 – 1.5 Kg/M2) of bonding agent directly to the prepared substrate using a trowel.
Option B: Apply a thin layer (ca. 1.0 – 1.5 Kg/M2) of bonding agent directly to the back of the veneer panels. - Install the Veneer:
Carefully position the veneer panel onto the prepared surface, ensuring proper alignment and level. Press firmly and evenly to achieve good adhesion. - Fill Joints and Clean Up:
Once all panels are installed, use the joint filler to fill any gaps between the veneer pieces. Smooth the joint filler with a suitable tool and allow it to dry completely. Carefully remove any excess glue or joint filler residue from the veneer surface using a damp cloth. - Finish.
